D-VO (born as David Vo) was born in fountain valley hospital not too far from his home town garden grove. His nationality is vietnamese on his fathers side and half native american on his mothers side. Growing up in garden grove all of his child hood he became familiar with the citys culture and its love for hip hop. His inspiration for music root from "Bone thugs N Harmony" to "P.O.D." He started out in music as a child in a church choir. From there he introduced himself to many instruments like guitar, bass, double bass, drums etc. Always involved in music, he decided to mix up his musical talent and add it into Risen Tunes' music when he was asked to be in the band. It has always been D-VO's dream to be a famous musician and share GOD's love with the world through music. D-VO also understands that you can speak to people though music from all walks of life. Still pursuing his dream, he want's this to be his career for his life. "I am fueled by GOD to make music that people will like and listen too in hopes that they will open their ears, minds and hearts to this "JESUS music."
